 I’m Claire and the founder of Love from Bear. 

​

Established in 2020, Love from Bear is a custom embroidery business, creating bespoke gifts, keepsakes, accessories, clothing and homeware catering for all ages and occasions.Looking back, I think we will all agree that 2020 was a crazy year, and it truly taught me that life is too short not to pursue your dreams and do what makes you happy. 

​

So, after 12 years as a teacher, I made the decision to leave education. As a Head of Computing and Digital Literacy, Apple Distinguished Educator and Apple Professional Learning Specialist, I felt I had achieved all of my goals and left my teaching career on a high.

 A baby and a business are born!

​

Life changing decisions are never easy to make, but sometimes you know it’s the right thing to do. Following the birth of my beautiful daughter Laila in January 2020, my outlook on life changed completely and I just knew I didn’t want to go back to work full time and spend all of my time apart from her. So, I thought about what I really wanted out of life, and the answer was very clear and had been tucked away in my mind for the past 5 or so years.

For me, giving thoughtful gifts that people love, is such a lovely feeling. Especially personalised ones, there’s just something really special about having your name or initials on an item. And so, the idea of Love from Bear was born.

Fast forward to September 2022, our gorgeous boy Laith arrived filling our world with smiles and laughter. Again, focus shifted and Love from Bear took a back seat as we adjusted to our life as a family of four. 

After an extended maternity leave (perks of being the boss!) Love from Bear is back in business and exited for what the future holds.

Our Ethos

The ethos behind the brand is centred around creating that perfect, special gift that is as unique as the recipient. Being a parent can be all consuming and trying to find the time and headspace to source and buy gifts can be difficult, that’s where we come in! Allowing our customers to decide the design, colour scheme and overall appearance of their item, enables us to create beautiful gifts that will be loved for years to come.
